I think this is a good place to exchange knowledge with other students. I also think here we can practice our writing and grammar. Students should write what they know instead of using translator. They should ask more questions. I think you could post different topics every week other than grammar rules. For example post videos, recommend books, movies or virtual games to keep people interesting.
I really think this blog has a great content, it is usefull for our learning process. It could be improved with games and spaces where we can interact with others learners and practice english, in order to have conversations with other students you can propose forums about different topics: social, politic, sports, interesting movies and the last news of the moment.

I think that the English Blog is a useful online resource to put in practice all the language skills that we have learned through out the classes. I think the English Blog could be improved by sharing different didactic resources such as crossword puzzles, spelling bees, and word bricks, which are enjoyable games that might help us to improve our vocabulary as well as our grammatical patterns. Other interesting resources are the sitcoms like "how I meet your mother", "friends", and "the middle", which might help us to develop our listening and reading skills if the television show is closed-captioned. Nowadays, one of the most popular resources to learn English is the use of music videos that could be shared in the English Blog. The videos can be used to complete the lyrics and practice the pronunciation. Finally but not less important, magazine articles and newspapers are very suitable resources to learn new vocabulary, time expressions and grammar.
What can be improved in the blog, is his style, and that I think could be more striking, because in part to seek academic support is very good and is very understandable.

Hi teacher, my name is Oscar Alejandro Hernandez Caceres, ciclo 4B An English blog is created to interact with the teacher and other students, to learn with the topics and readings the teachers submit, it is imporant to have videos and support material for making easier the learning of studients. This blog contains images, text and some evaluations that are really important for knowing if the student has improve his level. Some evaluations doesn't correct the answers so i didn't know how i was going on this activity. it's a really good blog and interactive.
The blog have a lot of information about many different matters. I think that one way to improve, it could be organizing the section of “Doubts and Comments” in specific topics, so if someone has the same doubt of other person before, he could found easily. Other thing that I think that could work is include a topic with more auxiliary material, for example an Irregular Verbs table or a Connectors table, like the glossary with the Phrasal Verbs.
The blog has a unique way to improve our knowlege in English with fun and clever activities. I think that one way to improve this blog is to give it a better design as well as more evaulations... Besides this I think that is a really great blog.

I found this blog really useful if you're learning english because it have elements, tips, rules, topics that help the student to easily comprehend or do a research about a topic. I think that this blog can be improved by making it better looking, with brighter colors that catch the reader's eyes, improving the design. Also i think is important to include games and didactic elements for making the learning process fun.

the blog is kind of usefull, it has some interesting posts here and there, but you honestly just enter to it to meet a requirement for an activity, so it is kind of a waste for the potencial of the idea of a blog where you can reinforce english by interacting with other people and reading some cool facts or something, so in my opinion the best way to improve the blog is to pick one side or another, or make it totally focused on the reinforcement of the language or drive it to a more community focused space

From the rest it seems a very complete block to learn English since in this one a description and an analysis is made, trying to use all the learning complements of this language.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a good place to exchange knowledge with other students. I also think here we can practice our writing and grammar. Students should write what they know instead of using translator. They should ask more questions.
I think you could post different topics every week other than grammar rules. For example post videos, recommend books, movies or virtual games to keep people interesting.

ReplyDeleteI think that the English Blog is a useful online resource to put in practice all the language skills that we have learned through out the classes. I think the English Blog could be improved by sharing different didactic resources such as crossword puzzles, spelling bees, and word bricks, which are enjoyable games that might help us to improve our vocabulary as well as our grammatical patterns. Other interesting resources are the sitcoms like "how I meet your mother", "friends", and "the middle", which might help us to develop our listening and reading skills if the television show is closed-captioned. Nowadays, one of the most popular resources to learn English is the use of music videos that could be shared in the English Blog. The videos can be used to complete the lyrics and practice the pronunciation. Finally but not less important, magazine articles and newspapers are very suitable resources to learn new vocabulary, time expressions and grammar.

The blog have a lot of information about many different matters. I think that one way to improve, it could be organizing the section of “Doubts and Comments” in specific topics, so if someone has the same doubt of other person before, he could found easily. Other thing that I think that could work is include a topic with more auxiliary material, for example an Irregular Verbs table or a Connectors table, like the glossary with the Phrasal Verbs.

The blog is very useful for all of us as students, I like that we can share our opinions and see the comments of others. It is a tool where you can observe vocabulary, topics, the use of many verbs, conjugations and many elements that complement our learning in the English language. I would expect the blog to be expanded, I mean, other people from other countries, including foreign people can access and write or give points of view about the problems and notices that we have to give an opinion. If the blog were constant for people who are not in the course, there would be more variety, international opinions.

Hello, my name is Carlos Alberto Arroyave, I course C5 Y C6. I think that most of the information of this blog is interesting, clear and kind to read. There is interesting information about our country and other countries in the world. I like the information about places to visit and music. I think that people learn more about they like, so it is important that the blog has information or forums about striking and entertaining things. It would be a good idea to publish in other opportunities about movies, jokes, or traditional games; things of that kind that allow us communicate more fluidly.

The educational blogs admit using the new technologies to expand the contents worked in the classroom, they are interactive blogs that allow the participation of the students in the blog, thus working on the procedural part of the subject. The proposed content can be very varied, ranging from exercises that help to work the contents to personal reflections, teamwork or also the possibility of using the network with content filtered by the teacher. They provide a more direct interaction between teacher and students, allowing the opening of criteria and in turn, this enriches the educational process.

This blog we can find a great information about the states that present violent acts worldwide, I only recommend that you do not show the black side of things; We can also expose beautiful and important sites of each country, state or city with a complete description giving a gastronomic sample, location, tourist parks, customs, culture and languages, attaching photographs to get the attention of the student.
From the rest it seems a very complete block to learn English since in this one a description and an analysis is made, trying to use all the learning complements of this language.
this blog is important to meet other people on many topics, I would like to implement more culture genres, opinions on conspiracy theories among others, or with the simple fact of making the blog more dynamic, for example, add some games and things like that
